City of North Miami Beach orders evacuation of condo building after a review deemed unsafe

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FLA. — Town of North Miami Coastline ordered the evacuation of a apartment constructing Friday after a review stumbled on unsafe stipulations.

Town said in a data release that an audit resulted in by the deadly crumple of Champlain Towers South in Surfside stumbled on the 156-unit Crestview Towers structurally and electrically unsafe.

“In an abundance of warning, the City ordered the constructing closed in an instant and the residents evacuated for his or her protection, while a chunky structural assessment is conducted and subsequent steps are decided,” City Supervisor Arthur H. Sorey III said in the solutions release.

The North Miami Coastline Police Department modified into once helping with the evacuation of residents of the Crestview, which modified into once constructed in 1972.
