Man pushed onto Manhattan subway tracks, gets back on platform with help from good Samaritan

A 25-year-old man was shoved onto the subway tracks at Columbus Circle Thursday morning, police said.

The victim was waiting for a downtown D train when he was pushed about 5:40 a.m., officials said.

He was able to get back onto the platform with the help of a good Samaritan.

The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with minor injuries to his legs.

His attacker is being sought.

Police describe the suspect as black, bald, about 6-feet tall and 210 pounds.
